Catering is available for Business Functions, Weddings, Celebrations and Personal Events Monday to Sunday.

Deli at Absolute
Absolute Deli has arrived at our Cambridge cafe! Add these delicious treats to a platter or takeaway to have at home.
Absolute stuffed mushrooms, queen olives, sundried tomatoes, white anchovies, ciabatta, Absolute honey glazed ham, Salmon and Scotch Eggs.

Cafe Irresistiblue at Monavale Blueberries

Cafe Irresistiblue is situated centrally in the heart of the Waikato, only 10 minute drive from Cambridge and is based on New Zealand’s largest certified organic blueberry orchard.

With high ceilings and a rustic, country feel, the cafe is a great place to visit, relax and enjoy a cup of organic coffee and a delicious fresh meal incorporating an enticing palate of local flavours, whilst overlooking the organic blueberry orchard towards the mountains beyond.

The cafe offers an all-day menu featuring free-range, organic and local ingredients.

There is ample alfresco dining available on the decks that grace the cafe, as well as gorgeous hand-crafted wooden indoor tables and huge windows, so you can enjoy the views no matter where you sit.

A small orchard shop is also on-site. The cafe is also available for functions.
The cafe is licensed and has disability access.

Café & Wine Bar
Tucked into a charming corner of the hotel, The Clements Café & Wine Bar is a casually elegant all-day café. The light-filled space with both indoor and outdoor seating will evolve throughout the day, serving as a relaxed café in the morning before becoming a destination wine bar in the evenings, with special vintages and light bites.

1866 Speakeasy Bar
The original 150-year-old basement is being converted to an authentic underground cocktail bar. Inspired by the speakeasy bars of Chicago, it will be noted for its stage, live music, craft cocktails and an imaginative beverage program that is the star of the show. Open Thursday to Sunday from 5:30pm – late.

High Tea

Sundays are made for high tea. Treat yourself to a delightful afternoon with our signature high tea experience at The Clements. Enjoy a selection of delicate tea sandwiches, warm scones, and indulgent pastries, all paired with premium loose-leaf tea from Oku or Zealong.

Join us every Sunday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Due to high demand, we recommend booking at least 2 days in advance.

Paddock

A lot of people ask us why we named this little place “Paddock”.

Originally, the idea of Paddock was to provide fresh, tasty gourmet take-out. So essentially, our focus was on cooking with the best of produce for you to grab on the run. Because of our location & our surrounding district, and the theory behind what we are all about, it only seemed fitting to embrace the name Paddock. So there it was, a name, a connection, a philosophy.

Sure, our building was old, tired & lacked any vibe at all, but we couldn’t resist the vision we had & the challenge ahead, to bring into Cambridge & add to the town's charm. Pretty soon after opening, we realised that Cambridge was embracing this small space, and our idea of making delicious coffee and serving great food within a vibrant but chilled atmosphere was flourishing.

We’re surrounded by a young & talented team, and we are extraordinarily proud of what our team produces every day. An effort to use the best produce available and the enormous amount of love that goes into each dish, we believe, contributes to that delicious plate of food. We will always make an effort to ensure we use organic seasonal fruits & vegetables & free-range meats, which we try to source locally. Our coffee is sourced from the amazing people at Supreme, providing delicious blends & single origins.

Our coffee beans are roasted by local Olympian Sam Daikin from SL.OW Coffee and our milk comes just a short drive off local dairy farm Kaipaki Milk. Non-homogenised and delivered in glass bottles on a recycling system, our coffee is smooth, silky and a little indulgent.

Our venue boasts both indoor & outdoor seating options – with a ground level, cosy upstairs and outdoor seating to soak up the sun. If the sun’s not shining, we have blankets available to make your experience cosy and warm.

Our space, while industrial, is designed to capture the beauty of our farming background and our intentions of how good food should be shared.
