The Velo Lounges
Hire a Velo Lounge (Velo 1 or Velo 2) and marvel at the outstanding, uninterrupted views overlooking the velodrome.
Their air-conditioned lounges provide an impressive space for team building sessions, seminars and meetings. Two adjacent lounges can be hired individually, or combined to create a larger space, ideal for bigger groups.
These functional spaces have built in projectors and screens and a quality sound system. There is also an LCD TV for use and access to wireless internet. Velo 1 also has a small adjoining kitchen for serving refreshments. Hire for half or full day.
The APL Room

THE MARKETPLACE
The Marketplace is a bustling, vibrant experience to tantalise the senses of your visitors. Guests will find themselves engulfed in the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of The Shire.
Situated by the Millhouse and a short stroll across the double arch stone bridge from The Green Dragon Inn, is the Marketplace. Guests are invited to taste a real piece of New Zealand from individually themed stalls bursting with traditional Hobbit fare. The market stalls are catered to your guests’ requirements and can consist of New Zealand cheeses, freshly baked artisan breads, cured meats, smoked fish, and, of course, fresh produce from the Hobbiton gardens, just to name a few.
Throughout the evening, there will be roaming Middle-earth entertainment mingling amongst the guests. Among the stalls will be Hobbiton’s handcrafted barrel bars pouring the exclusive Hobbit Southfarthing range, a selection of wines and various non-alcoholic beverages.
As the sun sets over Hobbiton Movie Set, the village will light up and provide a stunning backdrop for your celebration.
YARD FLAT
Celebrate in true Middle-earth™ style on Yard Flat, our purpose-built area built for large incentive groups with a stunning view overlooking the set and towards the iconic Party Tree.
This area is purpose-built and can be altered and adapted to suit your group’s needs. The garden bar stretches out towards the set and comfortably sits on top of the Hobbit Holes, making for a perfect evening in The Shire.

The Tivoli Cinema is an independent Cinema established in the quiet town of Cambridge in 2014 by Shane Jarrett and Karen Hawes. A paved courtyard with market umbrellas links the Sails outdoor space with the Gantry indoor venue.
