The Waikato’s oldest golf club, Cambridge Golf Club was established in 1900 and has been on the current site since 1924.
Cambridge Golf Club is an all-weather 18-hole course presenting a challenge to golfers at all levels. Explore the valleys and contour of a golf course sculptured by the Waikato River 150,000 years ago.
The Golf Club has a range of facilities for the use of members and their guests.
Bar and Lounge – The Club has a large lounge, suitable for functions and corporate entertainment and a fully stocked bar. Weather permitting, you can sit out on the balcony overlooking the 18th green. 100 seated, 230 cocktail style.
Resident caterers, Paynters Catering, provide a wide range of hot and cold food. The bar and catering facilities are open each day except Monday and Friday.
Golf Practice Areas – Cambridge Golf Club has two dedicated practice areas. We have a driving range with target greens – buckets of balls may be purchased from the Pro Shop. The separate practice fairway includes a green with chipping and bunker practice areas.

The course welcomes visitors and has golf clubs and carts for hire – bookings required.
