Masonic Hotel in Cambridge, New Zealand offers accommodation, restaurant and bar in a beautiful 100 year old Historic Building. It has a beautiful Kauri staircase, stained glass windows and many other features that give the building its character.
Upstairs accommodation has 11 bedrooms from a backpacker shared room, single rooms, double rooms and en-suite rooms. There is a TV lounge which leads to the newly erected balcony. (Balcony rebuilt when street renovations done in 2003).
The Masonic Hotel was one of the first businesses in town to be illuminated by electricity in 1921 and hence how the nightclub got its name “Voltage”.
The bar is warm and friendly with traditional pub food served at a reasonable price. Meals are available everyday.
