The idea behind Over the Moon Dairy Company was simple: cheese should be adventurous, fun and a bit sophisticated. Founder Sue Arthur believed that in New Zealand, where we produce some of the world’s best quality milk, there are no excuses for making boring cheese.
We make our handcrafted cheeses from locally sourced cow, goat, sheep and buffalo milk.
Our range includes traditional hard cheeses like Cheshire and Romano through to the tantalising family of soft cheeses and blues plus some relatively undiscovered delights like halloumi and washed rind.
But there’s only so much we can tell you here. You really need to taste our cheese to know how good it really is!
