During these school holidays come and experience our unique holiday sessions at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome. No matter your skill level everyone is welcome to join, from complete beginners through to the more experienced.
If you have never ridden on the Grassroots Trust Velodrome and want to give it a try, then you can absolutely come along. We are offering our Junior Learn to Ride sessions, and this is a great place for kids to start their track cycling journey. They will be coached towards becoming competent to ride our track. We also have a range of other sessions for already accredited riders!
Please also remember to bring a snack and water – it’s hard work!
*Please note, participation in this programme does not guarantee that the riders will become competent to ride the track (accredited). We will do everything to try and make this possible but sometimes it just takes longer for certain people dependant on their skill, confidence, and fitness level.
A minimum of 5 riders is required to run each session.
Please note: Children must be 135 m in height and at least 10 years old to ride the track at the Grassroots Trust Velodrome.
