Inspirit Gallery have an exciting Live drawing event with Hannah Shand, an amazing New Zealand bird artist on Friday 4 December between 4-6pm. Her native bird drawings are incredible. The fine detail is extraordinary. She donates at least 10% of her sales to conservation projects and has been compared to Raymond Ching. Numbers are limited and people wishing to attend need to register their interest to email@example.com.
“Hannah Shand is passionate about New Zealand’s native flora and fauna, and she specialises in realistic pen drawings of our native birds. Using her photography and art skills to capture and showcase the beauty of nature, Hannah hopes to inspire others to care about our wildlife.
She actively works with conservation groups & bird sanctuaries to promote awareness about their crucial work, & raises funds by selling her fine-art prints, as well as donating to, & fundraising for, other conservation groups.
Hannah creates original and commissioned artworks in A4 to A1 size, with each artwork taking two to five weeks, as she carefully renders the fine details to bring to life each bird’s unique characteristics. She also produces hand-signed and numbered limited edition prints, made in Wellington using the highest quality archival paper, inks and processes.”
