Free Twilight Concert at Lake Karapiro – Cambridge Brass and Cambridge High School Bands, Armistice in Cambridge. Bring your picnic baskets or make use of onsite food vendors and enjoy a concert of music from Cambridge High School Concert Band, Cambridge High School Brassroots, and Cambridge Brass Band. All bands combined.
The evening will end with a bang! Smoke and cannons feature while the two bands play the 1812 Overture (Tchaikovsky). This concert concludes the Armistice events for Saturday. If you are there already, stay and enjoy. If just coming to this event gates will be open at 4.30 pm.
