Tawa Tent is set in a natural clearing, surrounded by stunning tawa trees, endless ponga and ferns. It is a serene native bush escape designed to comfortably accommodate two people. Created predominantly with repurposed products, Tawa Tent has a humbling sense of character and reflects the natural environment that surrounds it. Harbouring an uncomplicated, tranquil, eco style of living, Tawa Tent inspires these values to be adopted beyond the time spent here.
There are multiple restful spaces to enjoy, with a king bed, indoor and outdoor sitting areas. A raised boardwalk will lead you to the bathroom which is crafted consciously, with compostable toilet, beautiful eco products and open aired hot shower with a view to the native bush canopy.

There will be no need to go anywhere – you can take true pleasure in the reposeful surroundings. The surreal location is home to many native species, of which can be constantly heard, seen and felt. Tawa Tent has been forged thoughtfully, to be in cohesion with the many eco systems and beings that gracefully exist with us. Tawa Tent is set in a section of bush on a working dairy farm, but is located in an area that is particularly independent of the day-to-day farm operations.
