Cambridge has a number of clubs that promote social activity.

social-clubs cambridge-isiteThe Cambridge Cosmopolitan Club opened in 1975 and provides social facilities for its members in Burn St, Leamington.

The "Cossie Club", as it's widely known, runs a number of sub clubs for those interested in activities such as friendship, golf, netball, snooker, outdoor and indoor bowls, dance, 8-ball pool and wood turning.

The Cambridge and District Senior Citizens club provides weekly dance sessions, games of housie and indoor bowls at their hall in Milicich Place (off Commerce St).

The Cambridge Club, in Dick St, caters for more than 200 members with a bar, games room and regular events.

BPW Cambridge is a club of working women who meet once a month over dinner to socialise, network, advocate and hear from guest speakers.

Cambridge also has community service clubs such as the Lions ClubRotary Club and Freemasons.

Selwyn day centres provide companionship, fun, help and support to those over 65 who may live alone or have limited opportunity to get out and about.
