Cambridge has many community services to help residents and visitors. Some are provided by national organisations while others are formed by groups of local volunteers.

62 Alpha St. Established in 1983, the CAB has volunteers who can help put you in touch with health and welfare groups, arrange free legal help and other specialist advice, such as budgeting.

Waipa District Council

Cambridge is part of Waipa District and our local council provides a wide range of services as diverse as roading, resource consents, animal control, to rubbish collection and the collection of leaves in winter.

Cambridge i-SITE Information Centre

The centre is one of a network of more than 90 centres throughout New Zealand and is regarded as the premier information service for visitors . Information Centre staff are experts when it comes to local knowledge - acknowledged by them winning awards for Best Customer Service (Hospitality) and Best Customer Service (Overall) at the 2012 Waipa Networks Business Awards, hosted by the Cambridge and Te Awamutu Chambers of Commerce.

Cambridge Christmas Festival

The Christmas Festival is held at the Cambridge Town Hall for two weeks every December. The Town Hall is decorated with displays, covering a different theme each year.
The shop is filled with lovely gifts, decorations, jams and chutneys. And various Choirs will perform daily.
